You walk along the Centro de Visitantes Peñalara along a forest path to Mirador de La Gitana. The walk continues over the Camina de la Laguna to the Laguna Grande de Peñalara. You walk on a path with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

At the Aroyo de la Laguna the path bends to the Laguna. You walk on a plank footpath. You can see the Refugio Zabana on the rocks. The plank footpath arrives at the Laguna Grande de Peñalara. There you can walk a bit along the lake.

You walk back the same way.
