You walk through Manzanares el Real to the Senda Maeso. You follow this path up. On the way you will pass the Cueva del Ave María. There are nice views of Embalse de Santillana. You arrive at the Collado de la Pedriza and there you continue walking on La Gran Cañada. Then you descend to El Tranco. You walk along the Río Manzanares back to the starting point.
