Campell - Serra del Penyó - Benimaurell - Fleix
Circular walk, 8 km
You walk from the campsite in the direction of Font del Gel. Just before the source you take a road up to the Serra del Penyó. A path takes you to the ridge of the mountain, near the eastern peak El Cavall Verd (730m). You follow the ridge westwards. Sometimes you have to climb a bit. Brackets and ropes are attached to the rocks to help you. You have a great view over La Vall de Laguar to the north and over the valley of the river Gorgos to the south.
Just before the ridge begins to rise slightly to the western peak Penya de l'Alt (830m), follow a path to the right that descends to Benimaurell. You walk through the village and then you walk along the Font Grossa to Fleix. From Fleix you walk back to the starting point.
