Hiking in the Nature reserve Fochteloërveen
The Fochteloërveen is a vast raised bog area in the provinces of Friesland and Drenthe. It is situated between the towns of Ravenswoud, Fochteloo, Veenhuizen, and Huis ter Heide. The area is managed by Natuurmonumenten and Staatsbosbeheer.
