Mojácar: La Mena - Macenas
Circular walk, 9 km
From the car park, take the path along the coast. You'll walk past the old Mina de la Mena mine (19th century). Then you'll walk past the Piedra del Nazareno, a jagged rock. The walk continues to Playa de Bolmayor beach, where the Castillo de Macenas (18th century) stands. Further on, you'll walk up the path, the Cuerda de la Chacona. You'll pass a few viewpoints where you have a view of the surroundings. Then the path goes steeply downhill. You'll walk to the Torre del Pirulico (12th century), where there's another viewpoint. Then you'll continue along the coast until you reach the path you used on the way there again. You'll walk back along this path.
