San Fernando: Punta del Boquerón
Circular walk, 8 km
From the parking lot you walk over wooden footbridges along the swamps of the Caño de Sancti Petri to the Battería de Urrutia, the ruins of a former fortress. Then you walk on the Playa de Castillo along el Punto de Boqueron. In the distance you can see the Castilli de Sancti Petri on an island in the sea. You will pass a few bunkers on the beach. Then you walk via the beach entrance back to the Sendero de Boqueron path. You walk back along this path to the starting point.
