Pampaneira: Río Poqueira

From the parking lot on the road near Pampaneira, you walk along the Poqeira River. When the river is full, you can admire various rapids and small waterfalls. At two dams, the water drops several meters. At the first dam, remnants of an old watermill can be seen, which was used for grinding grain into flour. On the return journey, you walk along a narrow path situated somewhat higher up the slope. This path leads to the village of Pampaneira. You return to the parking lot via stairs. Along the way, you encounter various fountains, a washing place, and pass the Era de la Venta.
