Monachil - Güéjar Sierra: Lagunilla de San Juan

A walk in the Sierra Nevada from the Hoya de la Mora car park via Virgen de las Nieves to Lagunillo de San Juan. You walk along the Arroyo de San Juan, which you cross twice. Then you walk back to the parking lot via Refugio Militar Capitán Cobo.bo.

stage 1 - Hoya de la Mora - Virgen de las Nieves - Lagunilla de San Juan (2 km 725)

From the parking lot you walk up the path to Virgen de las Nieves. Then you walk to the Arroyo de San Juan. You follow the stream over a stony path. You have beautiful views. You cross the stream and walk to Lagunillo de San Juan.

stage 2 - Lagunilla de San Juan - Capitán Cobo - Hoya de la Mora (2 km 684)

You walk from the lake to the Arroyo de San Juan and cross the stream again. You follow the stony path along the stream. Then you walk along a path with beautiful views to Refugio Mlitar Capitán Cobo. From there you walk back to the parking lot.
