You walk from the parking lot up through the Barranco de la Umbría. The trail passes a small Pinsapo forest. You walk further up to the Collado de Víznar, where you have a nice view of Granada. The path continues to the collado de la Rata. Then you arrive at the Cueva del Aqua and you have a beautiful view of the Sierra de Huétor and the Sierra Nevada. You then walk through the forest to the Pista de Alfaguara. You follow this road, which passes the Mirador Cueva del Gato. Then you walk back to the parking lot.
