Sant Joan les Fonts

Circular walk, 5 km

Route: Sant Joan les Fonts

You cross the river El Fluvià with the medieval bridge. There you walk past the church to Molí Fondo, an old water mill. You take a detour to a viewpoint. Then you walk along the Riera de Bianya. Along the way you can see spectacular vertical basalt columns in three places, which were formed during the cooling of lava flows. You cross the river twice. At the end of the path you come to a country road, which takes you back to the starting point.
